Summary:

Prehistoric Girl is a play-metaphor about eternal childhood, but also a document about the childhood of human civilization. The apparently simple life of prehistoric man provided Desanka Maksimović and the authorial team of the play plenty of opportunities for imagination and for the reconstruction of prehistoric life. The play’s main plot revolves around the girl Gava, who is striving for her place in society and gets assistance from the boy Buk.
